Wireless Access Points

We recommend commercial-grade wireless access points (WAPs) from Fortinet for most small and medium-sized businesses. The “G” series WAPs are available in different models that feature all or some of the following features:

  1. Three built-in radios that support 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz protocols.

  2. Internal or external radios.

  3. Best when used and managed with a Fortinet firewall.

  4. Guest mode segmentation

  5. Security/software updates (included with maintenance agreement).

Wireless Access points with three radios are the current state-of-the-art. These WAPs support 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz (Wireless 6) protocols.
