Our Partners

At Dominant Systems, we build cost-effective, reliable and secure computer networks for small and medium-sized businesses using products from leading IT manufacturers and software developers. Our partnerships include the following.

  • We have been providing servers from HPE and predecessor companies (Compaq, etc.) , since 1997. Their Proliant series of servers set the standard for both corporate and small business on-premises servers.

For smaller businesses, we are recommending the Proliant ML110 gen 11 with dual power supplies, a hardware RAID controller, and appropriate amounts of memory and storage.

Larger organizations will want to take a look at the rack mountable Proliant DL380s (2u) and DL 360s (1u).

  • When Hewlett-Packard, Inc. split up in 2015, the PC and printer parts of the business went to a new company called HP, Inc. We have been providing the commercial lines of HP’s PCs, laptops and printers since then.

  • As you may guess, we have been a Microsoft partner since just after our founding in 1987. Over the years, we have supported commercial clients running Microsoft desktop operating systems that include Windows 3.1, Windows 3.3, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11. We have also supported and in some cases continue to support Windows NT Server, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022.

  • Fortinet is one of the largest manufacturers of internet security appliances with an estimated market share of around 20%. We have been selling, installing and supporting their Fortigate series of firewalls/security appliances for over 10 years.

  • Sophos Intercept X Advanced is our go to product for endpoint protection. While this product is far from being the least expensive option for endpoint protection, it has advanced anti-ransomware features which go above and beyond malware detection and blocking. There is even a server-based version of Intercept X Advanced which adds server-specific features to the base product. For clients requiring the services of a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC), Sophos offers a managed detect and response (MDR) service which can be added to Intercept X.

  • Huntress is a leading provider of “Managed Detect & Response” aka MDR services. With MDR, a team of security professionals monitor your network 24 x7 looking for potential security threats. If one is detected, Huntress will issue a response email which explains the issue and also provides steps to correct the issue. Huntress also offers a Security Awareness training program that organizations can use to keep their employees trained, tested, and up to date on the latest scams plaguing the internet.

  • After all these years a company finally came out with data backup software that just works. Veeam Backup & Recovery is that software. Whether it is a single server based in the cloud, or an entire server farm, Veeam has software that will get data backup jobs done.
