Veeam Backup & Recovery software
Veeam is the leader in corporate data backup software because of it’s scalability, reliability and ease-of-use. The Veeam Data Platform Essentials product (formerly Veeam Backup Essentials) offers great data protection for small businesses with up to 50 workloads. Veeam also uses an easy-to-understand Veeam Universal License (VUL) which also gives you the freedom to reallocate data protection licenses as needed.

Synology NAS storage systems
For primary backup storage, we recommend Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems from Synology. Synology NAS systems are available in sizes from 2 bay up to 24 bays. Options includes solid state drives (SSDs) as well as the traditional hard disk drives (HDDs). Petabyte capacity is available for their high end NAS and SAN systems.

Dominant Systems / Microsoft Azure cloud storage
Dominant Systems has partnered with Microsoft to provide cloud-based storage for use in case of disaster. Storage blocks are available in 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, 8TB, and 16TB increments.

Backing up your data to a local device and then to the to the cloud is recommended for most small and medium-sized businesses. The local storage may also be used for data retention and archiving.
